Here is a little background history on myself. I grew up in southern Ontario in a little town called Simcoe. I married my husband Rick who was in the military. Our first posting, just a mere two months after our wedding, rushed us away to the Queen Charlotte Islands in British Columbia for three and a half years. During our stay on the island, we were blessed with our first child, Courtney.

I was rewarded for the isolation and our family was moved to the beautiful Island of Bermuda. During my stay in Bermuda, I learnt how to scuba dive and sail. I also took up running on the island. After three wonderful years in the sun, we were then moved to Ottawa.

Once in Ottawa, we were again blessed with the birth of our son, Craig. As both my husband and I came from small towns, we decided to move out of the city and raise our family in Russell. When I am not at work, I am a full time hockey, soccer, football, volleyball and basketball mom as well as the designated chauffer.

With sports in our family, I too, love running and working out at the gym.

In our spare off season time, we do get away on vacations and you guessed it, to the beach.
